Grudgeon, Mr

Dancing master from Clitheroe, Lancashire.  Active in the late 1800s. Probably born c. 1830.

Mr Grudgeon is known to have taught at the Swan and Royal Hotel in Castle Street, Clitheroe.  Members of his family, particularly his son Ignatius and a daughter assisted him.  He played the fiddle whilst teaching and also ran a small band with his children, including another son James who also played the fiddle.
