A routine devised by Sam at some time before 1978. Sam has suggested that many of the steps are of the “soft shoe” type and owe much to the dancing of Eugene Stratton and later G.H. Elliot. The former was a contemporary of Sam’s father, James Sherry and Sam was of the view that his father learned many steps from him, either directly or by imitation. The structure and style of the steps, which share many characteristice of schottische dancing are discussed in the booklet as are the sources of infdividual steps.

The number of steps in this routine has varied over time, initially there appear to have been 13, however Sam always saide that there were 14. Similarly the order has also changed slightly from time to time.
