Sam Sherry’s Polka Routine

The routine was devised by Sam in the early 1990s using material which had not found its way into any of his other routines, together with two steps borrowed from his exhibition routine.  The steps are believed to come from a number of sources which are detailed in the notation booklet.

The dance was notated after Sam’s death, from the dancing of two of Sam’s pupils and the detail thus reflects their dancing rather than that of Sam’s.
