Doyle, Warren

Doyle-YoungClog dancer from Low Fell, Co. Durham.  Said by Jimmy Ellwood to have been taught by one of his pupils, Johnny Doyle (perhaps Warren’s father).

Won the Northumberland and Durham Championships held in Gateshead in 1908. Competed (unplaced) in the Northumberland and Durham Championships held in Stanley in 1935. Placed 2nd in the Northumberland and Durham Championship held in Durham in 1936. Gained first place in the Northumberland and Durham Championships  held in  Gateshead in 1938.
