Professional American dancer ( 15/1/1862 – 1/1/1928), famed for the Skirt Dance (known by her as the Serpentine Dance) which was her trademark performance.

In about 1892 Margaret Anne Robinson was sent, by her father Stainton Robinson, to her learn the Spanish Castanet Dance and the Skirt Dance, which he later introduced at his classes.
