Highland dancer from Carron in Speyside and collector of dances. Produced the Letter Service Series of dance descriptions in the early 1950s and his versions of the Hebridean dances were published posthumously by Peter White in 1972, his renamed version of Highland Laddie as Bonnie Dundee (6/8 jig time) was published in 1976 and he produced a guide to High Cutting.
