Clog dancer from Blackburn, Lancashire. Born about 1905. Perhaps George William Greenwood born 1906, living at 69 Fore St, Lower Darwen in 1911, the son of George William Greenwood snr and Winifred Greenwood.

Interviewed by Julian Pilling in 1959. He had been a pupil of Jack Burns, who he paid for lessons. Performed as part of a trio in local amateur pantomimes.
