Clog dancer from Hawkshead. Born c. 1907.
Originally from Underbarrow, he originally learned from Stainton Robinson and later from Tommy Cannon.
He was able to teach the shuffle off, single shuffle, double shuffle, treble shuffle, hagworm crawl, crow walk, heel and toe, backwards step, sideways crunch, heel and toe and treble shuffle.
