Clog Dancers

We know the names of well over a thousand clog dancers.  In some cases we have been able to trace detailed hsitories of their dancing, who they learned from, where they were based and what steps they danced.  Below we provide links to information on some of the best-known dancers of the 20th century, as these individuals are, of course, dancers for whom we have the fullest information and whose steps have been notated.  Even then we have not felt able to include every one and we are sorry if we have missed out your favourite dancer!  You can access a full list of names below or find them by typing their name into the search facility which will bring up such information as we have on them.
