Miss Cowper was interviewed wirth her sister, Elsie Cowper.
They were the daughters of Arthur C. Cowper and thus the neices of Oliver Cowper of Workington. They were able to supply lengthy family history of the Cowper family and their dancing activities.
They were able to remember the following from their father’s classes:

- Fan Gavotte
- Highland Schottische
- Gypsy Dance
- Japanese Dance
- Sailors’ Hornpipe
- Skirt Dance
- Sir Roger de Coverley
- Spanish Dance
- Tambourine Dance
- Waltz Cotillion
They were able to provide notations for:
They also recalled that their farther had a Sword Dance over crossed swords which they never learned. They were also able to teach a number of steps used in the fancy dances which formed part of ther father’s repertoire.
